    1. Thanks for writing such a great weekly blog, Rach! And for being a loyal reader and commenter on mine.

  3. Always interesting stuff Susan. I particularly liked the Fun Stuff- especially Nifty Gifts For Book Nerds. Interesting PW interview with Scott McIntyre and his postmortem on the demise of D&M. Hopeful article about the resurgence of the independent bookstore- the article was American however, I’m not so sure about a resurgence in Canada- although I am hopeful.
    Thanks, Rorie

    1. I believe the resurgence could happen for Canadian indies, as well, as long as they’re willing to embrace change, work with us on figuring out ways that eBooks can be sold through brick & mortar stores, and reshape themselves so they’re specifically serving the readers’ needs. (As you can imagine, I have a lot to say on this particular topic!!) Thanks for reading and commenting, Rorie! It’s a crazy business, isn’t it?
